What’s better than hot pot?
All you can heat hot pot, of course!
I don’t know how I’ve missed this branch for the little less than 2 years I’ve been hooked onto hot pot. I’m trying to make up for lost time and have been here 3 times in the last two weeks (twice for dinner and once for lunch) :). Such great value for money, with lunch priced at AED 38 per person and dinner at AED 48. This gives you access to select starters (including the vegetable spring rolls), some mains and unlimited noodles, veggies, tofu, meat and seafood for your hot pot. If you want to overindulge in great tasting but oily-ish food without breaking your pocket, this is where you need to go.
We had to wait a little when we walked in for dinner, and it was slightly annoying that the receptionist nor the waiters were really concerned about finding us a place. I am not a fan of the service at this branch specifically; they tend to be understaffed during lunch. It also is a lot busier than the other Little Lamb branches around town (understandable given the price difference). The beef dumplings are unfortunately not part of the all-you-can-eat, so if you really want them you have to pay an additional AED 38. I realized they’re not needed, because now you get to try new things from their buffet menu, and manage to feel satisfied, in other ways. I am a fan of their beef, lamb, shrimp, sweet potato, beef balls and beef stomach – all cooked in the spicy broth. Pick up one of the fresh buns from the buffet table and just ask for a bowl of sweetened condensed milk to go with it, to end your meal on a sweet note.
Great value and taste makes this place worth it, but they could really work on their service.
