I stopped by Jones the Grocer in Al Raha for late lunch this afternoon. This Australian restaurant has a chilled out vibe and is particularly known for their organic ingredients. Their Raha branch does not have its own parking, so you have to park at the visitor spots in Al Muneera Island and walk over the bridge to the restaurant. The restaurant, which has an indoor and outdoor seating area, is located inside an office building and seems to be a popular business lunch spot. It is surrounded by townhouses and a canal, making the ambience in the outdoor area pleasant, especially while the weather permits. We were seated conveniently at a corner table outside.
I ordered the garlic and chili linguini with prawns, while my friend got the Jones wagyu burger. I really enjoyed the linguini, which came with fresh garlic bread. The burger was great too, but I really didn’t expect any less for the price paid. Both mains were fresh and delicious. Their portions aren’t ginormous, but were just right for me today.
The service was great, and we were checked on a few times to make sure everything was okay (without it being overbearing). This branch of Jones the Grocer did not fail to impress with great tasting food, good service and good vibes. I’m excited to come back to try more of their menu!
